Tenure (a service of Hyper Mind Technologies, LLC) is a small team. We read every email ourselves. If your message is time-sensitive, say so in the subject line and we'll prioritize accordingly.
Best things to email us about
- Calculator questions.If a verdict surprised you or you can't figure out what an input means, write us. We'll either explain or treat your email as a usability bug report.
- Methodology corrections. Found a stale citation, a miscomputed tax bracket, or a city assumption that no longer holds? Send the URL and the specific correction. Verdict-affecting errors are fixed within 72 hours and logged on our about page.
- City data accuracy.If the median rent or median home price for your city looks off relative to what you see on Zillow or Redfin, tell us. We'll re-check the underlying ZHVI / ZORI series and either update or document the divergence.
- Journalist data requests.We're happy to share anonymized aggregate data (which cities skew “buy” vs “rent” at which income levels) or spokespeople for stories on US housing affordability.
- Partnership inquiries.Real-estate brokerages, mortgage marketplaces, personal-finance publications — we're open to specific, scoped collaborations. Use [PARTNERSHIP] in the subject.
Things we can’t help with
- Personalized investment advice. The calculator isthe help. We can't tell you whether youshould buy a specific house at a specific price — only your CFP can do that. We can explain how the model arrived at a verdict for your inputs.
- Specific lender recommendations.We don't rank lenders. The affiliate links on the results page go to rate-shopping marketplaces, not curated lender picks. Talk to a mortgage broker.
- Tax advice.Our calculator applies 2026 federal brackets and the SALT cap, but state and local interactions are not its job. Talk to a CPA, especially if you're close to AMT, near the SALT cap, or in a high-tax state.
